The important work of the ILIPA is made possible through the dedication of its members organized into committees focused on supporting the mission of the ILIPA.

OPERATIONS

Committee Goal

The Operations Committee coordinates the internal operational needs of the Alliance.

 

Committee Objectives

  • Coordinate internal Alliance organizational needs
    (e.g. BoD structure, meeting minutes)

  • Create & maintain Alliance website

  • Establish fundraising requirements of Alliance

MARKETING and COMMUNICATIONS

Committee Goal

This committee coordinates all external marketing & communication needs of the Alliance.

 

Committee Objectives

  • Establish & maintain social media presence of Alliance

  • Coordinate marketing & PR to members and external stakeholders

  • Create & maintain IP event calendar

EDUCATION and AWARENESS

Committee Goal

This committee creates IP education and awareness programs at all academic levels and across professions.

 

Committee Objectives

  • Coordinate Alliance participation in IL Science Fair

  • Create and manage IP mentoring program

  • Provide IP presentations on website for use by educators & business

MEMBERSHIP

Committee Goal

The membership committee manages all aspects of Alliance membership.

  • Create & manage member solicitation efforts

Committee Goal

This committee facilitates Alliance programming and events on topics of interest to the membership and their guests.

  • Encourage and coordinate programming and events on current issues that align with the Alliance mission

  • Raise awareness of intellectual property issues facing Illinois

  • Provide speaking opportunities for thought leaders and experts

  • Co-promote events with other organizations
