Please join us for a lively conversation with serial inventor and entrepreneur Dan Brown, a Northwestern University Engineering faculty member in design, creation, and entrepreneurship. Dan has direct experience with building a for-profit business based on technical inventions. He has learned the role of IP in securing inventions and ultimately in building his business. Beyond creating market value and teaching, Dan serves on the Public Advisory Committee of the USPTO. Prof. James Conley is himself an inventor whose scholarship explores understands the value of IP to a business and will guide the conversation with Dan.
